How Can Periods Be Delayed?

I have just been prescribed norethisterone by my gp to take three days before my period is due. Working hours of collecting my norethisterone my period started. I really need to delay my periods for my holiday next week as they are extremely heavy and painful. What should I do. Should I just start taking it as prescribed anyway?

Hi, I think you should take norethisterone in a double dose for 3 days to stop the bleeding but you have to continue taking it in a normal dose till you don't want periods. Whenever you will stop it, periods will come again. Consult your doctor for proper prescription.
