How Can Periods Be Delayed?

I have just started taking HRT and at the end of the oestrogen ready to start the green progesterone tablet, but am going on holiday for a week in a day or two and don t want to take the chance of having a period! Can I carry on taking the white estrogen tablet for an extra week?
