Is there anything I can do to delay them for a week? I don t want to take any medicine to stop dm Un naturally as it makes things worse for me.
Home remedies like eating papaya, pineapple, honey lemon tea, drinking of fennel seed, boiled water and doing exercises, are claimed to be useful in delaying the periods. However, these are all not proven clinically. These may or may not help.
There is no "safe way" to delay period without using a pill or without disrupting the normal cycle.
The periods can be delayed by taking Primolut-N (Norethisterone) tab 5 mg twice daily 4-5 days before the expected day of your next period. Treatment can be continued as long as you wish (maximum 14 days!). Once you stop taking medication you will get withdrawal bleeding within 3-5 days.
You need to consult your doctor for the prescription of the above medication.
Hope this will help.
