Hi I am 22 years old weight is 87 kgs height is 5.9 I want to delay my periods..last month on 23rd I got my periods.. usually I get it 2 days priors from my date every month...I am confused which medicine to take regestrone or primolut.. From when and what dosage? thanks
It is usually recommended in the dose of 5 mg twice daily (to be taken at the same time of the day) 4-5 day before the next period and continue till you want to postpone the period (maximum 14 days).
After you stop taking the tablets, your period is likely to start after two or three days; however, the time scale may be different for every individual.
You need to consult a gynecologist for the prescription of this medication.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali
