The neupathy in my feel, has settled now in my heels, making it difficult to walk. I noticed it s bad, after sitting for awhile, or after getting out of bed. It s painful. I am taking Neutrontin, (Gabapentin) 3times a day, 300 mi. My problem is a spinal problem. I am out of state, not near my Doctors, at the present time. I am a 74, woman, who is a Caregiver, for my Wheelchair bound husband. Any help, sure would be appreciated.

Hello,

As the gabapentin has been failed, you can now try steroid injection which will be very effective in this condition.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
