How Can Persistent Gastrointestinal Problems In A Child Be Treated?
I have 14 year old son who has been having gi issues for two years. Have seen his pediatrician at Kaiser, had multiple blood/stool labs done to no avail. He had h pylori and went through the antibiotic treatment and is also anemic, but that has gotten better. He suggested seeing pediatric GI doctor and possibly a colonoscopy--any recommendations? We are paying out of pocket as we have no insurance

As per your history, as you already taken treatment for H.pylori, but at present he has blood in stool, so kindly do colonoscopy after consultation. For anemia, you can give tab. Ferrous Sulphate after consultation. Treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition.
