How Can Pimples And Brown Spots On The Face Be Removed?

Hi Doctor, i have pimples and brown spots on the face, i have been using Fusidic acid and derivas ointment on the face, however i find a layer of brown skin on the face whenever i apply these ointmnts, and my sink is too dry, m i following the correct medicattion, please help, would appriciate if i could get the name of the face wash and moisturiser to controll acne please

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Pimples and brown spot on face develops due to clogging of ducts draining sebaceous glands Fusidic acid ointment alone is not sufficient to heal it. I would advise you to use a course of antibiotics like Doxycycline, and clindamycin ointment to be applied locally. Apart from medicine I would advise you to keep your face clean by washing it with antiseptic soap or face wash and keep it moisturised.

You should avoid fatty, fried, spicy, junk food, and avoid smoking and drinking. Have lots of fluids like clean water, fruit juices to maintain good hydration.
