How Can Pneumonia Be Treated?

i have been diagnosed with pneumonia after being on antibiotics and anti inflammatory medicine for a week with bronchitis. My doctor told me to rest, go on another higher round of the above, and come back in a week. So how do I know if/when I can work?

Hi,

You can go to work and do all your routine activities once you are cleared infection. You can go for a repeat X-ray after two weeks. Generally the infection will settle in couple of weeks and you can go to work after two weeks.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
