Hello,

As per your clinical history is concerned, please follow like this:

1) Do a clinical examination by your Doctor [pulmonologist] and to confirm do few investigations [chest X-ray, CBC with differential, Pulse oximetry, and sputum culture].

2) Discuss with your Doctor about specific injectable antibiotics, paracetamol for fever and cough syrup.

Do follow lifestyle modifications like this:

1) Vaccines are available to prevent some types of pneumonia and the flu. Talk with your doctor about getting these shots.

2) Practice good hygiene. To protect yourself against respiratory infections that sometimes lead to pneumonia, wash your hands regularly or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

3) Do not smoke. Smoking damages your lungs' natural defenses against respiratory infections.

4) Keep your immune system strong. Get enough sleep, exercise regularly and eat a healthy diet.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Uday Nath Sahoo
