I am looking for a medication to help combat pollen allergies. It was originally in shot form. and then it was delivered in pill form like 7 pills on day one, six on day two, etc. I can not recall the name of the medication nor the shot medication. It raises the glucose significantly
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Pollen allergies are usually treated with antihistamines and mast cell stabilizers. In case it doesn't respond well, steroids may be necessary to control the same. You can take medication containing Fexofenadine (antihistamine) once a day along with Sodium chromoglycate (mast cell stabilizer) once a day for effectively controlling allergic reaction. Avoiding exposure to pollen and wearing mask constantly when moving outside should also help to reduce allergic reactions from happening. Hope the information provided would be helpful.
