How Can Poor Concentration And Anxiety Be Treated?

My son is having the following symptoms and I am concerned. He stated to me he is experiencing difficulties concentrating. He is having a hard time at work learning something that he says is not that difficult and is afraid he is going to get fired because he is not picking up the material. As soon as he gets to work. His anxiety level goes thru the roof. He said his eyes open up wide that he looks like he s bugged eyed and starts to sweat. he says he looks like if he was on something, which he is not. His heart starts beating fast. He says, he becomes a little sarcastic and he is not like that. He is working at a job that he dislikes very much and is only working there because he needs a job to pay the bills. and gain some experience to do what he really wants to do. Could the condition he is going thru right now be related to his job?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
In my opinion, you should consult psychiatrist for your son.
He needs counseling sessions.
Try to identify stressor in his life and start working on its solution.
He may need anxiolytic drugs too.
Don't worry, counselling and medication will definitely help him to come out from this fear.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your son. Thanks.
I find this answer helpful
