How Can Poor Concentration Be Treated?

I am in danger of losing my job-I just lost my promotion to someone nearly half my age-due to anxiety and inability to concentrate. I was 18 and dropped out of highschool to take my GED because I could not understand my teachers at all. I don t know what the heck to do.

Hi. First thing is to try and figure out what is causing your poor concentration. Unfortunately many things can cause this including poor sleep/poor diet/medications/certain medical conditions to name a few.
I would recommend improving sleep quality 7-9 hours per night, and consulting your healthcare provider who can perform a history and physical, review your medications/supplements, and order necessary blood work. i.e. complete blood count to look for anemia and TSH to assess thyroid function.
Hope this helps.
