How Can Post Nasal Drip Be Treated?

I ve had sinus drainage for the past 4 months. I ve been to the dr. 3 times. Twice I was given antibiotics and then predisone. When I was taking the predisone it seemed to take away my symptoms. But after stopping taking it, the symptoms came back. I went to an ENT dr. and she had me do a ct scan. She said it showed nothing and there wasn t anything she could do for me because it s just post nasal drip. My throat tickles and makes me cough like the dickens. Is there something I can do to make this go away?

Hello,

Yes, postnasal drip can be treated with nasal decongestants. Do mouth gargling with salt water and take antibiotics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
