How Can Pregnancy Be Avoided After Unprotected Intercourse?

Hi, I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend yesterday and the day before and was unable get postinor 2 immediately, just got it this morning and I have already taken my breakfast. My question is can I still use it? and will it still be effective. Thanks

Hi I think you can take emergency pill within 72 hours of last unprotected intercourse. It can be taken after meals. So, I think it will be effective in your case. If your periods are delayed, you can do a urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy first. Hope it helps.
