Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I think I may be pregnant. My primary care doctor ran a test to check for hCG in my blood.. and came back with a 2 total miu/ml. I am having most classic symptoms of early pregnancy. Such as fatigue, dizziness, and constantly feeling like I m going to throw up... along with slight discomfort in the lower abdomen. I have miscarried before at anywhere from 8-12 weeks. I am not quite sure how far along I was because my hCG levels were all over and there was no baby to be seen on an ultrasound. My question is... could this be early pregnancy or a cyst?
Any BHCG level 5 or less is considered negative for pregnancy. If it is over 25 then very likely you are pregnant. So by your test results, it does not sound you are pregnant and very likely the symptoms are not due to pregnancy.
I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
