How Can Pregnancy Be Confirmed?

Hi, I had the pregnancy test done this morning, and two lines appeared 9one was very bright, another one is very faint). I know I am pregnant, and it should be 3 weeks as max, but week ago I had bleeding that makes me think that I had my period (supposed to start on 29th). How is it possible? I mean I was bleeding (for 1 day though)! Sorry for grammar mistakes...

Hi,

The faint line does not indicate that you could be pregnant. There could be a possibility of miscarriage as you are stating that you were bleeding for a day before. Even if you have conceived and later abortion happens by bleeding, hormone beta-hCG levels increase and would take some time to normalize.

Hence, during that time, pregnancy test might indicate faint line. Kindly confirm once by means of clinical examination by consulting Obstetrician along with undertaking a transvaginal ultrasound scan to know what could be the present status.
