I have missed my period, had a faint line on the pregnancy test doctor sent me for a blood test which was inclusive as the hormone was only 16 which is in the middle or so my doctor said I have a blood test set for next Monday but what is the chance that I m pregnant and it was abit to early for blood test to say?
Sometimes, urine pregnancy test could be inconclusive to state that you could be pregnant. In such circumstances, blood levels of beta hCG hormone is measured. This hormone levels needs to increase more than two-fold every 48 to 72 hours. Another means to find out about your pregnancy status is by means of trans-vaginal ultrasound scan. Kindly follow the instructions and advise as suggested by your doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Ashakiran S
