Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
HELLO I HAVE EARLY DETECTED PROSTATE CANCER--GLEASON SCORE 7 (3+4) IN NO.12 LEFT LATERAL APEX. AND NO. 6 RIGHT LATERAL APEX--HIGH GRADE PROSTATIC INTRAEPITHELIAL NEOPLASIS. BEFORE CHOOSING RADIATION OR SURGERY--I WANT TO TRY BOMBARDMENT OF NATURAL SUPPLEMENTS--WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND??
Hello....i understand your concern. Since you have been diagnosed with prostate cancer, i would strongly advise you to go ahead with surgery. Natural supplements have not shown to have amy benefit in cancer remission. The earlier you get operated before the cancer spreads or metastasises to other areas of your body, the better will be your prognosis. Unfortunately if the tumor were to spread to the spine or bones as is common in prostate cancer the outlook becomes quite dismal. The longer you wait, the greater are the chances of spread of the cancer. Please consult a urologist and oncologist who will guide you to the best course of action. Hope this helps... Regards,
