Dear Doctors, Sorry my information are all second hand. My father was diagnosed with stage four prostate cancer, about four years ago. To the best of my knowledge, he was on hormones therapy as treatments. Throughout the years, his cancer spread to his bones. He had been constipation, has had catheters, and other prostate cancer symptoms. Then last night, I was told he has kidney and colon cancer and does not have very long to live. This is a hard question to answer without all the medical records. But please give your best guess. When doctor says, there is not much time left, what and how long does that usually mean?
