How Can Prostatomegaly Grade 1 With Significant PvRU Be Treated?

Sir I am 58 years old and is having problems in urinating and have to use force and take Very good time for urinating. previously my urine stopped in year and after taking lasix injection in the hospital get relief .today I get a chance for USG Which have digonsed me with prostatomegaly Gr 1 with significant PvRU kindly help me as I am performing duties in police at KASHMIR and not able to see doctor to Risk my Life

Hi,

As the cause of urinary discomfort is obstruction through prostate gland, the diuretic as Lasix is not recommended at all. Specific alpha blockers as Tamsulosin which works specifically on smooth muscles of urinary bladder is recommended via consultation with your urologist.
