Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have psuedomonas in my ears - with blue ear wax. I also have a painful, sore throat and sinus drainage. Tuesday I saw my GP, who had never heard of blue ear wax Before I urged him to research it. He started me on a course of antibiotics, but now I have an itchy rash at several perspiration points on my body. I feel fatigued and listless after two days of the antibiotic. How should I treat my itchy lesions? (Between my breasts, at the top of my tail bone, along my neck and in one ear). Should I wait for the antibiotic to work or am I getting worse?
Psedomonas infection needs culture specific medications and other supportive care. The current issue seems to be drug induced reaction and must be reported to the consultant without any delay.
