Hello,
Thanks for your query on HCM
'As"per your clinical history is concerned please follow like this -
1)Do a detailed clinical examination by a [rheumatologist] and do few investigations like this [CBC, ESR, ECG, ECHO, liver and kidney function tests, and urine for protein]to rule out complications associated with [Lupus].
2)Discuss treatment plan like this -[
hydroxychloroquine,
Prednisone and
azathioprine etc]
Do take few preventive steps like this-
1)Make a plan to meet your doctor in timely interval. Having regular and timely checkups instead of only seeing your doctor when your symptoms worsen may help your doctor prevent flare-ups, and can be useful in addressing routine health concerns, such as stress, diet and exercise that can be helpful in preventing lupus complications.
2)Take adequate rest.
3)Get plenty of sleep at night and naps or breaks during the day as needed.
4)Ultraviolet light can trigger a flare, wear protective clothing such as a hat, long sleeved shirt and long pants and use sunscreens with a sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 55 every time you go outside.
5)Do regular exercise. Exercise can help you recover from a flare, reduce your risk of
heart attack, help fight
depression and promote general well-being.
6)Try to avoid
smoking. Smoking increases your risk of
cardiovascular disease and can worsen the effects of lupus on your heart and blood vessels.
7)Try to eat a healthy diet. A healthy diet emphasizes fruits, vegetables and whole grains.
Hope that helps
