Hi doctor... was using certainnlotion for some months and I realised it was giving me stretch marks here and there as well as small rashes on face and neck. So I had to stop and buy another cream.i have used this for a week now and am still seeing signs of the rashes on my face and body. What should I do?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of rashes on the face and neck which seems to be that fact that you are being exposed to the allergen and this is the reason that the allergic reaction is persisting. Cover your face while going outside to protect you skin from harmful UV radiations. I would suggest you to take proper course of antihistamine drug along with short course of oral corticosteroids after proper prescription. Wash face with face wash containing salicylic acid twice a day and apply cream containing azelaic acid. Exfoliate your skin once in a week to remove the dead skin. If condition doesn't get better in a month then consult dermatologist again for proper diagnosis and to rule out any underlying condition . Doctor may prescribe isoteritenoin , steroid ointment or antibiotics course. Drink plenty of water , eat fresh fruits and vegetables for mineral and vitamins.
Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
