i have small blisters or rashes in my face.. i had them when i used to shave my beard with razor without using shaving cream ani mow today when i went to see my doctor and he asked me if i had sexual contact bt i have never had sexual contact.. he then said the rashes may indicate a hundred things and it may even be dangerous.. i dnt understant what he was trying to imply.. i dnt have curly beard n nw that i am using a machine for shaving purpose the rashes have not increase or even decreased.. he said it may be due to infection from molloscum contagiosum
Hi. As per your case history of molluscum contagiosum, my treatment advice is - 1. It is a viral infection leading to small bumps. 2. It is contagious, so keep your clothes and belongings separate. 3. Apply a tretinoin 0.05% ointment once at night on lesions and antibiotic cream like fusiderm once at day on lesions. 4. Other treatment options are extraction by curette, cauterization, laser ablation done only after consulting a dermatologist.
