How Can Rectal Prolapse Be Treated?

I have a rectal prolapse which protrudes when I open my bowels and I looked with a mirror to see if the relapse had changed and I noticed that there was a small white mark which felt a little bit different. is this a start of ulcers and can you recommend any cream.

Hello,

Rental prolapse can be digitally manipulated back for temporary until operation done. Your proctoscopy rectal examination needs to be done and after examination management plan decided.

Long-term prolapse can lead ulcer development over that area. So consult the surgeon for examination and if needed get operated for prolapse by rectopexy like operation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
