How Can Recurrent UTI S Be Treated?

I keep getting UTIs. I don t want to take any more antibiotics because they seem to put me into a viscous cycle of yeast infection, then back to UTI. I have has success in the past with Ursa Uvi and lots of water but that does not seem to be working this time. I m taking vitamin C, caprylic acid, pro-biotics for vaginal and urinary health, cranberry supplements and other vitamins. I urinate after sex. I ve had this low lying UTI for at least 4 months (smelly urine in the morning, immediate urgency, discomfort when urinating (sometimes but not always). I m now having cramping and discomfort with intercourse. I ve been tested for all STIs and have tested negative. What else can I do?

Hi,

Recurrent UTI suggests persistent infection. Instead of taking antibiotics indiscriminately you need urine culture test first to find a particular bacteria and target that with a selective antibiotic. It will help you to relieve. I suggest reporting to the emergency room for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
