How Can Recurrent UTI S Be Treated?

I have had numerous UTIs in the past 18 months. I am treated and then a few weeks later I have another one. No one seems concerned but me. I use cranberry gummies, estrogen cream, I am on Vesicare, and I am trying vitamins C now. I am tired of all the treatments with no success at cure.

If you do not have any restriction in fluid intake drink 2 liters of water per day. Regular emptying (not based on the urge to urinate)of bladder with 3 hour interval by day and before sleeping. Make sure you have completely emptied your bladder . Before sleeping urinate as usual and after 10-15 minutes again urinate and empty your bladder. Emptying bladder before and after intercourse . Make sure you use clean water and wash after urinating everytime. Your physician will tell you about which antibiotic to take if you need to take any for the present infection after culture and sensitivity is done. Recurrent urinary tract infection needs proper attention and treatment . Make sure along with these supportive care you also consult your consultant .
