Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
As per your query, your child has symptoms of a recurrent cough, and cold which are due to viral respiratory tract infections and compromised immunity of the body.
I would suggest you apply vaporizers rub. You should take an antihistamine drug such as Benadryl or Chlorpheniramine along with Amoxicillin drug.
You should give cough expectorants to the child. I would advise you to consult pediatrician once to find proper diagnosis and then start treatment as per that. You should get chest X-ray done and start treatment after proper diagnosis.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
