A couple years ago I had a severe constipation in my left side right above my left hip bone. Went to the doc & an ex Ray confirmed. Palm Sunday April 9th night I fried up some home seasoned hot & spicy chicken thighs, that I had bought at Walmart that had a reduced sale sticker on. I woke up the next morning and thought I had an ulcer and or food poisoning. I never ran a fever. I didn t do much about it. A couple of days later it seemed like the pain was moving around and moving down. I was having some bowel movements that seemed normal. No blood. No dark stools. But the pain never really ever went away. I could feel a very tight left side of my abdomen most of the week. Then Last Thursday the 13th hit at about 9 pm a couple hours after some hot & spicy Chinese. I had pain that night like never before and all day Friday. By Easter Sunday it was better. And got along fine until today. At lunch I had Mexican with chips and salsa. About 6 hours later I m getting that tweeting pain back in my left side right above my hipbone. This is the second time these symptoms have come back in the last week. I was self employed for 22 years. I sold my business 13 years ago I am on no prescriptions. I have never had health insurance pay for anything. I had been carrying a $5,000 deduct. So no colonoscopy. I live in a town of 8,000 and rumor has it our local clinic/hospital is $1,800 higher than the capital city 40 miles away. I ve been single my whole life and didn t want to inconvenience anyone with a day trip 40 miles away, nor did I have the extra money 5 9. 180 lbs With not even high blood pressure and no more than doctors office calls on sinus infections my health insurance jumped from $375 to $500 to $730 in 2017 ---- I said fuck it ! I m not paying $730 per month with a high deductible. Now I m afraid those same want to die pains are going to come back. I just drank a big glass of water with about 4 - 6 ounces of aloe to make sure I don t get super constipated Could it be that the spice has irritated a spot in the small or large intestine?
