How Can Recurring Stye In The Eye Be Treated?

Hi. I ve been having a recurring style/chazalion for the past 3 years. It usually will become irritated and big for a day and then become a small painless bump again. This time the bump is very large and hard and is causing pressure on the eye. It s not getting smaller and I ve used warm compresses, apple cider vinegar, the gold ring method and nothing has worked. How can I get rid of these once and for all?

Hello,

Recurring style or Chalazion can be due to inflammation in eyelids and also dandruff over eyelashes. Doing eye fomentation everyday regularly and eyelid scrubbing for couple of weeks are advised to treat these. If the swelling is very big this time then you might have to get intralesional injection or incision and drainage of the same.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
