How Can Respiratory Problems In A Baby, Who Inhales Through Mouth, Be Treated?
Sir I have 2.2 yrs male child,he born in winter climate has a some problem in respiratory ,in beginning I thought it s due to cold his nose would be block so he taking breath with mouth but as time passed I see he regularly take air with his mouth and a sound with snoring comes out whenever he takes air during sleeping.sir plz convey me...what should be done..?
It is called mouth breathing and occurs in a large number of children. It needs to be addressed to prevent teeth from decay and oral diseases.
You need to show him to pedodontist first who will make an appliance oral screen for him to control habit. He may also be evaluated for any abnormality in nose and tonsils.
There is nothing to worry just take him to pedodontist first. He will address it properly.
