In people with mild to moderate restless legs syndrome, lifestyle changes, such as beginning a regular exercise program, establishing regular sleep patterns, and eliminating or decreasing the use of caffeine, alcohol, and tobacco, may be helpful. Also, some home remedies that may help include:
-Leg massages, Hot baths or heating pads or ice packs applied to the legs, Good sleep habits.
-Medications may be helpful but are used only in severe cases and may be, Neupro, and Requip or Benzodiazepines. Anticonvulsants, or antiseizure drugs, such as Tegretol, Lyrica or Neurontin.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
