How Can Restrictive Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Be Treated?
My son has Restrictive Hypotropic Cardiomyopathy and a small vsd...his troponin level is at 7 and the Dr told him he is going to have a heartattack that will paralyze or kill him...his dad died 2yrs ago of Hypotropic Cardiomyopathy...what do I do...he is only 21...HELP...

Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy may be autosomal dominant inheritance. Theses people may chances to develop repeated episodes of angina pain, arrhythmia or exertional dysnea and sudden cardiac death. You have to get him echo cardiogram, ECG, cardiac enzymes etc. Theses people may need cardia muscle ablation or intracardiac defibrillator for cardioversion is useful. Anti arrhythmia drugs may useful. please consult the cardiologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
