Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and have had rheumatoid flares ever since. Recently diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis. Very successful treatment with Humira and methotrexate then developed Valley Fever (coccidiomycosis) and had to stop them. I m 55 yo f, very active. Rheumatoid symptoms have all returned, having pain even sitting still, so I figured what the heck, and still keep riding my horses. The pain is horrific. Any suggestions?
as you mentioned to be an active person, I suggest doing water therapy. it would be a better option for pains in addition to your physical activity. for ankylosing spondylitis And Rheumatoid arthritisPhysiotherapy is of benefit in addition to your antiinflammatory medications.
