How Can Rheumatoid Arthritis Be Treated?
Y sister is 67. She has rheumatoid arthritis and has had infections related to surgeries on her joints. She recently finished an antibiotic using a pick line and now has a fever that comes and goes (101) and has chills offa d on (for the last 4 days) . She has been exposed to the flu but had a flu test done yesterday and flu was ruled out. She has lost 8 pounds in the last 8 days.

Actually, there is no cure for rheumatoid arthritis at the moment. However, recent researches on arthritis indicate that remission of symptoms is more likely when treatment starts early with a group of drugs known as disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs.
