Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Ring worms are caused by fungal infections. Unfortunately, fungal infections can take a long time to respond to treatment.

It can take 2 to 3 weeks for a response to occur with consistent use of a cream/lotion.

IF you have used the cream (anti fungal cream- not anti bacterial) daily for this length of time with no change then you may need oral medicine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James
