I currently have ringworm the diameter of the palm of my hand. A tad larger in fact. It is located only 2 cm from my pubic hair line on my thigh. It s horrible. My son had it previously on his arm and I touched it thinking it was heat rash. So here I am. I ve had it over 2 weeks and it is only getting worse. I m using over the counter Lotrimon for ringworm. It helps with itching and it s now peeling. (Assuming that s positive) I keep it covered as well to ensure the medicine stays. I clean it well, dry it well, allow it to air out for about an hour, then reapply the cream and bandage. I now have a hard lump forming about 5 cm into the area. I poked around and got 1 very short ingrown hair and a dab of puss. Nothing else. It s hard and tender. Any thoughts? Direction or ideas would be much appreciated.
