Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
How often will I have to have to worry about getting rotator cuff tendinitis today I received a second shot with the pain but my ortho doctor wants me to see PT to help with ROM and strengthening I am 51 yr old woman I do not want to deal with all the time.
Treatment of rotator cufftendinitis is by applying cold compressors on your shoulder for 15 minutes. Taking analgesics such as ibuprofen and rest your joint. If these methods were not successful, physiotherapy is an option. Another treatment modality is to inject a steroid to reduce the inflammation and the pain.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Abed Tahrawi
