How Can Runny Nose Along With Sore Throat Be Treated?

My symptoms are constantly running sinuses, an extremely sore throat, and every night my temperature rises to over 100. I went to an express clinic Friday and they suggested flushing my nasal passages and Flonase. No change except now I have a lot of bleeding.ihave had this for ten days

Hello,

You have symptoms of runny nose and sore throat which is due to upper respiratory infection due to poor immunity of your body. I would suggest you take throat soothing agents. Take steam inhalation. You should do warm saline rinses three to four times a day. You should avoid cold carbonated beverages. You should visit the ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should get a blood test done to detect the level of infection and treatment can be started accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
