Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Her IgE levels are high which may be due to a combination of scabies and allergy. The high IgE level is indicative of the possibility of crusted scabies. Once the infection and allergy subside, the IgE levels will also come down. Treatment of crusted scabies is with topical Permethrin and oral Ivermectin. Multiple applications of Permethrin spaced weekly apart may be required. Cetirizine can be taken to relieve itching and allergy.
