Hi, Thanks for calling health care magic forum. It is not the scar that is stopping you from the selection, may be the possibility of its recurrance. As it is not calcified you can try for removal of the scar. first of all you consult a chest physician for finding any remnant disease in the body, and have certificate that you are free of the disease. Then ask for any possibility of removal of the scar, medically. I prescribe to my patient with such a scar vitamin C 5oomg, once daily. levofloxacin500mg once daily, and diclophenac sodium sustained release once daily as a trial . wishing for a quick recovery.
