Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i read that sciatic pain is worse when sitting, but mine is the opposite. it only hurts when going from sitting to standing and only lasts for seconds. when i have been sitting off-center somehow it doesn t happen. so i don t know if it is something with my tailbone or is some mild form of sciatica.?
As a first step you can take analgesics like Ibuprofen or Tramadol for pain relief. If symptoms persist you can consult an orthopaedician and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
