Hello Doctor, I am having scrotal Dermatitis (as the local doctor has told me the diseases name) for the last 8 months. Have been taking allegra , spectra and livocetrizne hydrocloride , but these medicines cud not cure the problem. Can I use Moderm or Mycoderm-C powder on effected area . I am 56 yrs male. Thanking you.
** Thanks for contacting HCM with your health concern
1. It seems that you have a fungal infection of the groin and recurrence/ resistance is a well-known problem with such infection and since the combination is not working this could be due to two factors: stress and scratching i.e. unless and until you do not stop these two things no medicine(s) will benefit you.
2. please consult a Dermatologist for expert opinion along with diagnosis and management, till then: . avoid tight clothing. low sugar. . eat a healthy diet, fresh fruits/vegetables
3. Mycoderma C contains Clotrimazole as active ingredient and works by inhibiting the growth of fungi but before using consult your doctor for medical advice since some persons are allergic to the same
