How Can Scrotal Itching Be Relieved?
Hello Doctor,
I am a male 26 years old with a severe scrotal itch for the past one week.
In the beginning the itch was somewhat caused by a "flaky" scrotom" which i can observe with some "dust" kind of remains in my underwear. I used to wash my groin area with "Cinthol" dry it and change into a clea underwear twice a day.
But then, the itch worsened a couple of dyas backand after rubbing my scrotom in the event of an unbearable itch - I get this "blood stain" in only those area. Hence I cut my nails and applied shower to sower. But the itch never reduced.
There is nothing specific that i was able to observe in my scrotum but ofcourse, It was a but dry and scaly for the last whole week. NOw i bought some topical ketakonazole cream NIZRAL and applied it during nigt and have bought Nu-Force anti fungal cream. Also got a prescribed LORPAST tablet. I am just starting with these medicines but still i have this bad itch and dirt/dust coming from my scrotum if i rub it to releive.
Any suggestions on what it might beplease.

Hi i think u are suffering from neurodermatitis of scrotum.it is mainly due to xerosis of scrotum.
It presents as dry itchy rough skin over the scrotum and burning sensation over the effected areas.
It can be cured by aloekin ointment along with momate ointment in the morning and phytoral ointment application in the night and use of atarax 25mg at night.flucanazole150 mg weekly once and use of antibiotic twice daily
