How Can Severe Abdominal Pain In A Child Be Treated?

My 10 year old son is complaining of 7/10 abdominal pain above his belly button that started on the 8th hole of his golf round approximately 2 hours ago. He is screaming in pain and cannot get comfortable when lying down. My husband thinks he strained an abdominal muscle, but I m concerned it could be something more serious. Please advise.

In such sever pain it is always recommended to visit a medical facility it can be many things even an appendicitis pain starts around umbilical area and then travels to right side of abdomen. I would suggest you to get a checkup for your boy so that if there is anything dangerous it can be ruled out , if there is nothing dangerous found then well and good.
