How Can Severe Allergic Rhinitis Be Treated?

I have severe allergic rhinitis (continuous sneezing & coughing). I have generally take motec lc on a regular basis. last couple of days the symptoms have increased coupled with continuous running nose. I have refrained from taking citrizine as it blocks the nasal cavity completely and ultimately causes fever. I took allegra 120 yesterday but I still have severe symptoms. should i continue with allegra 120 or take montec lc

Hi,

If the Allegra didn't help, I'd recommend skipping that.

Is there a reason you have refrained from taking the Montek LC if that has helped you in the past and you have tolerated it?

Another thing you can try, and you can do this in addition to the oral medication, is a steroid nasal spray, such as Fluticasone (brand name Flonase), which can help with sneezing and nasal stuffiness.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
