How Can Severe Anxiety Be Treated?

I ve been taking Wellbutrin for about 13 years and recently developed acute anxiety. Dr increased Wellbutrin from 300mg/day to 450mg/day and added 30mg buspar bid. My anxiety has not improved and is actually worse at times. I also take L-thyroxine daily. Am wondering if I should continue with Buspar and/or Thyroxine. Have appt with Dr this week but looking for 2nd opinion.

Hello,
The wellbutrin is great for depression but can make anxiety worse. I suggest that you continue the buspar and ask your doctor to lower the wellbutrin dose.
Regards
