How Can Severe Anxiety Be Treated?

I have had 3 abusive relationships. My 2nd husband hit me hard across my head at aged 28 yrs old resulting on my left ear bring perforated. Around this time he was driving when my forehead hit the ftont windscreen in car which knocked me partially unconscious. After i was traumatised in 2006 my head shakes. Especially when im pressured at work , anxiety triggers it. It stopped f awhile but i had to take on two caseloads of offenders re my wk and it hasnt stopped. Lying kn bed at night - it continues. Could you give me some advice please tkyou paula

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for puery on HCM
I have read and understood your concern.Sorry to hear what you have gone through.
Anxiety may be treated with various classes of antidepressants. However, i will suggest you see a Psychiatrist for evaluation, treatment and follow up. Prescribing a drug for you now is not what you need. You need both medical and psychological/emotional management and i feel your Psychiatrist will be in the best position to offer you these.
Hope this will help. You may write back if more concerns.
Wish you good health
