mty husband has been on zolft for approx. 2 and a half months takes it on time and has add adivan 2 weeks ago he is on 100 mill of Zoloft and is not seeing much results. He is still very paranonoid and axiety is still up there not many ups. he started to see a counseler and she just wants to talk about better eating get more rest drink more water but no one seems to want to help should he stop taking the meds because he is worse since he started?
hi thanks for using HCM. If zoloft is not much helpful to your husband, you can try other drug like paroxetine / other ssri/ snri. it is true that one drug does not fit to all, so that he may respond to other. Also you ask about CBT and Muscle relaxation therapy from your counselor as these method are also helpful. Do not stop the drug abruptly as it may cause withdrawl symptom that are sometime troublesome, instead taper it slowly. thanks
