How Can Severe Anxiety Be Treated?

I am having 2 root canals done in the morning...I am extremely anxious as I had several horrible childhood experiences with our famiy dentist as a child. my husband wants me to take a clonopin to calm me down and I want a diazepam. help...im so overwrought I cannot sleep. thank you for your advice...rosemary

consult clinical psychologistforcounseling. yoga and meditation may help. it is psychological problem and mentally youhave to be strong to over come anxiety. increase socialisation develop reading habit. take regular morning walk.style change is requered.reduce your weight by dieting and gym work out. consult dietician and gym expert.
